Diseño colaborativo en

En Dzitnup, Yucatán, son 16 diseñadoras y bordadoras de máquina de pedal que trabajan juntas desde hace mas de 17 años, el oficio del bordado que adquirieron de sus madres, tías, madrinas y abuelas, siempre siendo parte de una herencia de conocimiento textil que forma parte de su patrimonio.

Por medio de la colaboración con Fábrica Social, las artesanas han rescatado técnicas que ya no hacían, como el bordado que llaman renacimiento, que consiste en bordar y recortar tela dentro del bordado para formar una especie de encaje maravilloso, así como han desarrollado nuevas técnicas de dibujo y bordado que encontrarás en sus piezas en nuestras tiendas.

Las 16 artesanas trabajan dentro de la cooperativa de mujeres bordadoras de Dzitnup formada tiempo después de comenzar a trabajar con Fábrica Social y con apoyo de la marca.

Tu compra contribuye a que puedan seguir organizadas trabajando y experimentando en su comunidad mientras siembran sus milpas, cuidan a sus animales y ven a sus hijos crecer.
